Our Impact
FoNTA is committed to providing the resources necessary to support NTA students with the best educational environment possible. More than half of our families come from low-income households, and the school relies heavily on FoNTA to supplement the existing school budget. Your contribution to FoNTA supports classroom learning, athletics, field trips, special events, and so much more.

Jog-a-Thon
The Jog-a-Thon is a school-wide event that takes place each fall. Students, staff, and family members run laps around the NTA track, accompanied by a DJ and cheering supporters. Students raise money by inviting sponsors to donate toward their run. The Jog-a-Thon is a fun event to bring the NTA community together to raise money while moving our bodies in a fun and supportive environment.
Staff Appreciation
FoNTA’s Staff Appreciation Fundraiser was born out of our commitment to equity and inclusion. Families often thank their child’s teacher with a small gift in December, but we know that teachers are only the most visible of the large team that keeps NTA running every day. This fundraiser invites families and supporters to donate so that we may distribute gift cards to each of the wonderful support staff, administrators, and teachers who interact with our children every day.
Popcorn Fundraiser
NTA students participate in a Double Good popcorn fundraiser each spring, selling gourmet popcorn to family and friends. For each bag of popcorn sold, 50% of sales go back to FoNTA to help support our school. This fundraiser happens completely online, making it an easy lift for families to share, and often inspires heated, but friendly, competition between grades.
Dine Out for NTA
Each month, FoNTA organizes a Dine Out event in partnership with area restaurants, who donate a portion of their sales to the school. These events are an opportunity for the NTA community to gather and strengthen our bonds with each other, all while supporting our school.
Dress Down Days
Dress Down Days are in-school activities where students donate a small amount (usually $1-$2) to dress out of uniform. We provide these opportunities throughout the school year to give students a chance to express themselves and for a change of pace from their normal routine.
