NTA STUDENTS NEED YOUR HELP
Hundreds of NTA students do not have access to devices in their homes. Let's work together to close the technology gap so students can continue learning and stay connected to classmates and teachers!
NTA has mobilized to lend out the school's existing devices to students who need them.
FoNTA is committed to supporting these efforts by purchasing devices, supplies, routers, and other items, and helping to replace devices with extra wear and tear. The NTA community is 68% low-income households, many of which have limited access to the devices needed to support online learning. Our goal is to make sure that all students are supported and connected during this time.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
WHERE THE MONEY WILL GO
FoNTA has committed to replacing school devices loaned out this spring, knowing that the additional wear and tear will mean that most will need to be replaced for school use in the fall.
We will support school distribution efforts of existing devices and purchase additional Chromebooks as needed for students without devices. In addition, we will purchase supporting items such as chargers and adapters to ensure that existing devices can be used. Additional funds may be used to purchase routers for families without internet access.
Any remaining funds will go toward NTA's technology needs for the upcoming school year.
